Many are saying
This man, Jonathan D. Miller, a state senate candidate in NC is currently posting updates while running from the cops. It appears he intends to engage them in an armed conflict to end his life.
Praying he surrenders peacefully and gets the help he needs, but we need to have a talk about the legitimacy of The Libertarian Party. Pretending these types of candidates are serious options is an insult to voters. Asinine. Ridiculous. Absurd.
So when I say they’re not even trying to make themselves a viable and electable third party, THIS is exactly what I mean.

I've got six shots and the high ground. I hope they don't find me, but if they do it's going to be a hell of a show.
That’s no excuse. Gary Numan and Brian Eno and others were making good synth music before this. Paul McCartney farting around isn’t really experimenting.

Paul was experimenting, and played all of the instruments on this album by himself. Anyone who’s against experimenting with sounds is not a proper music fan
People are reappraising this song. They should not. It is obviously terrible. It is just Paul McCartney playing with equipment.

Every time we hear about New Hampshire it’s always like ‘The Mountain came crashing down!”

I regard to Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest being burned down: I have always found some of the most potent reminders of the Nazi regime and what it stood for in the surviving architecture of the period. It is most impactful when you visit a city like Berlin and there amongst the rest of the city you come to a building such as Haus am Werderschen Markt. You see how the building was meant to make the individual feel small and powerless against an almighty and eternal state government. You see the ideology that led to so many horrors crystallized in stone. Losing these artifacts of Nazism is like losing a text that we can read and help us to understand our history. No matter how good it might feel to tear down temples to past devils, they remind us as Faulkner put it: “The past is never dead. It’s not even past.” It is important to keep the past present with us. Because it is.
