Five years ago today, two members of rail staff and a passenger tragically lost their lives when a train derailed close to Stonehaven.
We remember them, and think of all of their loved ones today, as well as those who were injured.
We will never forget this tragedy.

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day
This photo was taken on this day last year when we were walking between the UK parliaments spreading a message of hope.
There is help out there but we need to smash the stigma around suicide and get talking about suicide prevention

We totally condemn this appalling & barbaric act of violence on an off-duty officer in Omagh. Our thoughts are with our colleague & his family. These gunmen offer nothing to society. Anyone with info should come forward. @ChiefConPSNI @NIPolicingBoard @PoliceServiceNI

🟢 Are you a writer, journalist, public speaker or someone who posts on social media?
🟣 It’s helpful to raise awareness about suicide because we all need to talk, but please use these @Sams_Scotland guidelines.
🟢 Thank you. They will help you save lives.

Evidence shows that certain types of media depictions, such as explicitly describing a method, can lead to imitational suicidal behaviour among vulnerable people.
