Our campaign for Kabwata MP took me to the furthest and most neglected outposts of Kabwata constituency. I interacted with the people of Gondwe village in Lilayi, took time to listen to their struggles, and also participated in helping out with laundry chores. It’s time

Black people we are our own worst enemies. @KemiBadenoch never forget our 509 years of slave history and where we (and you) come from…silence on this issue could have been better. Africa feels betrayed.

Visited several communities in my #KamwalaWard severely affected by floods, with some suffering damage to household goods, road access to homes cut off, but thankfully no deaths. I have activated emergency response protocols and engaged DMMU to quickly move in and provide relief.

Passed through my favorite supermarket #cheersupermarket mall to buy my son yogurt, only to be met with this scenario…a stark reminder of how #loadsheeding is impacting the big supermarkets who have capacity to run on back-up mechanisms. What about the small shop owners?
