Made the trip back up to the Indianapolis area to be in the gym with the Decatur Central Hawks

Hawks won the schools first ever regional championship and return one of the best backcourts in the state in the senior trio of Devin Colbert, Makeil Baker, and Marian Commit Nash Sigmund

Really can’t say enough about the senior backcourt that Decatur Central will put on the floor this season
Makeil Baker: Smooth combo guard that scores it in a variety of different ways
Devin Colbert Jr: smaller guard that’s lightning quick and is always in attack mode
Nash Sigmund: Marian Commit that is among the best shooters in the state but is a calming presence on the floor with his high Basketball IQ

2027 prospect Makeil Baker (@MakeilBaker ) of Decatur Central (IN) is truly a hidden gem in the state of Indiana that doesn’t get his flowers enough.
Second time I’ve had the chance to watch him live. Highly engaged on both ends, great scorer off the screen, and reads the floor super well.

Decatur Central is going to be a tough out for a LOT of people this season.
Their three rising senior guards of Makeil Baker, Devin Colbert Jr., and Nash Sigmund all scored 14-15 points in the nightcap against New Haven.
Really talented guard trio + X-Factor Lavell Love (2028).
