Anyone had a part of a field that was "hailed out" actually outperform the rest of the field? We had a strip go right across the NE part of this 1/4. Neighbor got 80% hail coverage adjacent and we saw it was dinged hard during spraying. This area outyielded by >5 bpa
Harvest 2026 was looking like a bearcat right off the hop so we decided to pick up a 3rd combine. We used this scenario to assess how these big NH units would stack up with our existing X9's. Also had the opportunity to run a 2027 X9 1100 for a day in canola and one in wheat.
Is anyone able to harvest at all this afternoon within a couple hours of Saskatoon? Long shot but I have a couple of Japanese agri-food importers who flew all the way to see harvest and were 100% rained out!
Was on a video call from the combine tonight with buyers in Japan as their product came off the field. They mentioned they were excited to meet @PremierScottMoe tomorrow at the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo. Reminded me of my visit there in May!

Sask ag is the most sustainable in the world. Our environment shaped our practices. We understood early that water is our most meaningful input. The innovation of "no-till" farming, the equipment and agronomic "know-how", have evolved to put us literally at the very top
