#WATCH | When asked whether AI could eventually become more powerful than humans, Juan Diego Raimondi, AI Expert and Chief AI Architect at Making Sense says, "...Intelligence has the capability to improve itself. If a system can identify the processes that lead to effective reasoning, it may be able to improve upon that reasoning. As humans, we have done this over centuries and millennia. The concern with AI is that, if it becomes intelligent and operates much faster than a human, it could potentially improve itself. You may hear discussions about something called RSI, which stands for Recursive Self-Improvement. It is often described as a key pathway toward superintelligence or AGI (Artificial General Intelligence). Once a model becomes capable enough to improve itself, it could potentially do so much faster than humans...If a computer were to become superintelligent, if an AI system were to surpass any individual human, or even exceed the combined intellectual capabilities of humanity, the concern would not necessarily be the intelligence itself. Rather, it would be how such a system might pursue its goals and interact with the world around it..."
