Libertarian healthcare sounds fucking incredible. Imagine getting shot, bleeding out on the sidewalk, and three ambulance companies competing for your business.
If you die before selecting one, an Austrian economist can explain how that was your revealed preference.

Kto, by pomyślał?
Argentina’s poverty rate rose to 32.3% in the first half of 2026, up from 28.2%, putting pressure on President Milei ahead of the 2027 election.
The Catholic University of Argentina estimates poverty could rise to 35% by the end of 2026.
While Milei’s austerity policies have sharply reduced inflation and stabilized public finances, cuts to subsidies and weak wage growth are putting pressure on households.
Milei’s government says it will maintain its austerity program, arguing fiscal discipline is needed for long-term growth.

Tyle wątków poruszonych i to wszystko w 12 minut. Sztos 🙌
A banking professor ran the test on a real bank to settle where money comes from. Almost nobody watches him show the result.
Richard Werner, Chair in International Banking at Southampton, Zurich, February 2018.
The textbook says banks take deposits and lend them on. The accounting says something else.
Watch the section where he lays out the 3 competing theories side by side, then shows which one the ledger supports.
A lectern, a conference badge, a dark screen behind him.
Central banks published the same answer. The textbooks never changed.

This is Valdas Dambrauskas in 2000, participating in Lithuanian edition of ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’.
He was just a student that never played professional football.
The money he won allowed him to go to England and attend multiple coaching courses. He managed to gain early experience at clubs like Manchester United, Fulham and Brentford.
In 2007, he got a job at ninth-tier English side Kingsbury London Tigers and eventually led them to the best result in their history.
He got 12 different managerial jobs afterwards, mainly in Baltic countries. There was some impressive local success, but there were also heartbreaks on his path.
This year, he won domestic double with Azerbaijani side Sabah, despite Qarabag being firm favourites.
Today, he led Sabah to the league phase of the Champions League for the first time in their history. 🏆

Przyjęcie euro nie przyspieszyło wzrostu gospodarczego państw strefy euro. Według nowego badania Harrego Aytuga wspólna waluta obniżyła roczne tempo wzrostu PKB per capita przeciętnie o około 0,3-0,4 p.p.
