I have stents. So according to the NHS I need to avoid folic acid. When asked about allergies in a cafe last week I asked for a folic acid-free sandwich and they looked at me like I was mad, you know that 'sorry, what?' look and asked me what I meant. Most people have no idea.

@Waitrose has closed the door on a customer trying to avoid synthetic folic acid. After weeks of correspondence (Case 19308882) they wrote: “Please refer to my email on 20/10, where I advised that we are unable to assist you further on this matter, as all available information has already been shared. Please note that while any further correspondence will be logged on your file, it may not be responded to.” One slice of fortified bread is fine. Ordinary daily intake of bread + cereal + pie/pastry + biscuits easily exceeds 300–450 μg — well over the 200 μg level previously advised for over-50s because of B12-masking risk. A substantial part of Waitrose’s core customer base is over 50. They have no system to identify folic-acid-free products and no plan to warn customers about cumulative exposure. @ClareCraigPath has highlighted the issues with unmetabolised folic acid and the limits of the safety data. Retailers following the mandate still have a duty to consider cumulative effects under the Food Safety Act.

So you're saying he deserved to be beaten to a pulp by immigrants for expressing his views in a supposed democratic country? He's just proved his own point, these violent immigrants need deporting.

Waitrose is al NOT listing the full ingredients of their produce on their website. Neither is M&S These shops are LISTING NUTRITION & NOT ingredients, so they can avoid including SFA on those lists. We MUST demand TRANSPARENCY! Because at this point, it looks like the Big Supermarkets ARE complicate!
Gov has made it almost impossible to avoid folic acid. Manufacturers and retailers are not helping either @waitrose What are people with cancer, heart stents, B12 deficiency and those who don't want an increased risk of cancer meant to do?

Morning all. Google would not make this meme because apparently 'it violates safety policies regarding the generation of content that spreads harmful health misinformation or labels approved public health nutrients as toxic substances.' So I used Grok.

Perhaps before the debate on 14th December, some MPs might like to try avoiding folic acid in their diet for a week.
It is almost impossible, I know the effects SFA had on me and I know the big difference now I’m free of it but it means a very restricted diet. Gov have absolutely no idea how hard it is to avoid or the extra cost sourcing ingredients without the nasty synthetic drug!

A single nuclear power plant produces as much power as 5000 wind turbines & does it when the wind is not blowing.
Donc: une seule centrale nucléaire produit sensiblement autant que la moitié des 10 000 éoliennes françaises. Cela permet de mieux réaliser l'absurdité du bilan intérêt/saccage des paysages de cette industrie parasite.

Can you even pronounce: PTEROYLMONOGLUTAMIC Acid? This is the chemical word for the synthetic drug the UK Gov't has now included in the UK FOOD CHAIN! Keep a look out for this mad word when you check ingredients labels. If you can't pronounce it, you should NOT be eating it!

Witty warns people about the risks of living in a rural setting ! He seems to be pushing the 15 minute city narrative where the Government can ‘look after you and your health needs’. I don’t want the Government ‘looking after me’ and I have no confidence in their intention or ability to ‘help’ me. Let’s face it since Chris Whitty took up his position as chief medical officer to the Government in 2019 we would all have been much better off doing the exact opposite to what he ‘advised’ us to do. examinerlive.co.uk/news/uk-w…

ONLY BUY WHOLEMEAL BREAD - OR SWITCH TO PORRIDGE AND POTATOES! *** B O Y C O T T A L L W H I T E B R E A D *** Pass This On! RtRtRt Thanks
Just a subtle reminder. ALL "White" British flour brands NOW contain Wes Streeting's ordered FOLIC ACID! The ONLY way to avoid it is to buy 100% WHOLEMEAL or SPELT ancient grains, IF you buy any of the brands below. Or flour made with grain protected by law. The Gov't say's it is doing this to protect 200 babies a year from spina bifida. Yet the same Gov't seems unconcerned that thousands of poor babies are being born with terrible conditions & disabilities, caused by inbreeding from parents who are related, every year? Why is it Governments ALWAYS use "children" as an excuse to enforce their authoritarian orders, or to snatch our freedoms from us? The Government have managed to do this be redefining what folic acid actually is. They defined it as a VITAMIN. But synthetic folic acid is a lab created DRUG! We need a MASS BOYCOTT of the big supermarkets. A MASS BOYCOTT of the BIG BRAND food companies & a MASS REFUSAL to buy products filled with government drugs! It is the ONLY way.
