I miss when software felt like it was designed by people who had spent their entire lives thinking about software.
I love designing illustrations!
Here are some illustrations I made for Flightcast Handbook recently ~
Designed and shipped new ad campaign dashboards on Flightcast, turning complex workflows into something that feels intuitive
Recently shipped a new Transcript Editor UI on Flightcast with search and edits visualization in audio timeline
Introducing shadcn/lint. An agent-first linter for Tailwind design systems.

There’s a lot you can do with this. Let me show you ↓

If everyone is busy making everything, how can anyone perfect anything?
Every day, I see a world flooded with effortless AI slops. I’m realizing that to build something truly great today, you need a level of focus the world has never demanded before.
It feels like trying to write a quiet, beautiful song in a room full of loud noise.
Recently shipped a new audio player interface on Flightcast with really satisfying waveform morphing effects

You can create a custom curve definition and pass it to recharts via `type` prop and tweak it to your preference:
Here's a little CSS trick to make your text skeletons line-height aware
demo with @shadcn skeleton and @tailwindcss:
Set the wrapper's height to 1lh and the skeleton's height to 1em so skeleton matches the text's visual height while preserving the correct block height
Morphing Charts #2
Experimenting with chart morphing effects for loading states
Inspired by @benjitaylor’s Liveline chart library, but built with SVG instead of canvas on top of @shadcn charts

For the past few months, I've been working on doing a massive UI revamp for @Flightcast
I'm gonna start sharing my favorite bits!
