Obama 08 with a majority in the house and near supermajority in the senate vs Obama when he is out of power
Opening day. I'm comfortable with the lineup. Im comfortable with the rotation. Ruiz is a placeholder. Junk is an awkward in-betweener. The lack of lefty relievers is still a problem but I really dont know who to boot out.
This is actually tougher than I thought. Particularly on the pitching side. Assuming marsee wont play the field initially. I see one "big" trade. Still working on it
As if he wasn't a top 5 SS in the league, in his prime and cost controlled for multiple years. Whatever they ask for should be in the ballpark for what Elly would get.
The Marlins asking price for Otto Lopez at the deadline was the “most insane shit ever” and they “probably put a higher ask on him than the Reds put on Elly”, per @mikeaxisa

Open mouth is always a dangerous proposition with statues but holy shit it looks so much better
I get the joke but the comparison would be the brewers losing a 9 win MVP and then having to rebuild him in the aggregate and still be able to win 100+ games. Obviously mythologized but it doesn't take away from the central thesis.
Overdevelopment; the new favorite buzzword of NIMBYism. Practically every single political ad down here uses it.
Good for him. Milwaukee is a great organization and they had built a tremendous foundation for him before he got there. Wish I could say the same for the Marlins during most of that stretch.

With all due respect @DavidPSamson, the ability to have a broadcast that’s friendly for those in vehicles is always going to be important. The amount of detail needed to paint the picture on audio is an art form unto itself. Anyone that thinks otherwise isn’t interested in what’s best for the fan. Just the bottom line
