Welcoming the new cohort of Doctors to @westlondonnhs. We hope your journey with us is a good one. It was lovely meeting some of you today.
Very best wishes to those who rotated out or CCT-d. We were lucky to have some become Consultants at WLNT.

This is completely and utterly shameful.
Iβm sorry this happened to you and @DrHWazir, Aadam. This flag π¬π§ belongs as much to you as me.
@TalkTV owe you an apology.
By the way, we do have doctors to come to the UK to work in the NHS - and weβre lucky to have them.
Absolutely disgraceful racism from @jkyleofficial on @TalkTV. As the camera zooms in on me and @DrHWazir on the picket line, he sneers that βa lot of them have come into this country to be doctors.β He based this solely on the colour of my skin.
I was born in the UK. I studied and trained in the UK and I currently work as a doctor in the NHS. My grandfather fought for this country in WW2.
This is racist, demeaning, and utterly unacceptable.

No place for racism in our society.
TalkTv must issue a formal apology.

Medical students - you should have received a postal ballot for the council elections.
These elections only happen every three years and set the direction of the BMA.
So vote for candidates with a track record of winning for students.
If youβre a member of the BMA you shouldβve received a voting pack in the post for BMA UK Council - the most important committee in the BMA.
Vote all DoctorsTogether candidates in the order at the end of the video to elect reps who care about issues that matter to you!
If you havenβt received your ballot, update your address on the BMA website and use the link in our bio to request a new one.

The BMA Council elections are now open, and DoctorsTogether candidates are standing as a team of reps with a strong record of delivering results for doctors locally/nationally.
Vote for your DoctorsTogether candidates, who will tackle doctor unemployment, support full UK Graduate Prioritisation, push back against unsafe scope creep, and fight to restore our pay.
When your ballot arrives in the post, rank every DoctorsTogether candidate in the order shown.
Once youβve completed your ballot, return it using the freepost envelope included in your pack. Donβt miss the opportunity to make your vote count!
