ಕಲಬುರಗಿ ನಗರದ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಕಾರಕ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ತರಲು ಯೋಜನೆ ರೂಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ,
ನಗರದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಗತ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಜಾಲವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು.
ಮೇಲ್ಮಟ್ಟದ ಕಂಬಗಳ ರಹಿತವಾದ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಅವಘಡಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ, ನಗರದ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಚಾರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಕಡಿಮೆಗೊಳಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಅಡೆತಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಲಿದೆ.
ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ರೂಪುರೇಷೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಜೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಜೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Jokumaraswamy — a living folk tradition rooted in the villages of North Karnataka.
According to traditional belief, Jokumaraswamy is born on Bhadrapada Shukla Ashtami, following the Ganesha festival, and lives for seven days. During this period, the idol is carried from house to house, accompanied by folk songs and prayers for rain, good crops and prosperity.
