Reviewing today's London photos after a walk around Westminster and Mayfair.
Finding a glitch in the matrix.

Strong start to S2 of This City Is Ours, with the tensest car wash ever.
Could have done with a recap before diving into the story though. Can't quite remember everything from S1.

Doomscrolling at a new level on Twitter tonight, nuclear war, alien attacks, internet going down along with the electricity and my favourite, a super moon causing earthquakes.
Should have accepted my brother's invitation of pub.

A day ticking off new-to-me Good Beer Guide pubs in Coventry.
The Broomfield Tavern appeared to have no keg at all.
Unique?

Train to Worcester FG cancelled at Gloucester, so find myself at Worcester Parkway.
My vote for the worst station in the land. It's cold, hardly anywhere to sit, the cafe shuts at 2 and there is no need for the sign to the loos.
You can smell them before you arrive.

After three less successful culinary attempts, I am back in the game.
Just don't tell the family that the Guinness I found in the fridge was 8 months past the BBE date.

So you now need an Explorer Pass - 99p a month - to access the previously free CAMRA Good Beer Guide Pubs Web Page - which replaced the previously free app?
Enshitification in action.
Back to the book.
Or maybe commit to Tim Tokens.

Revisit to a 2026 Telegraph Top 500 pub.
The Colmore Tap, Birmingham.
In an unusual turn, Lord Marples instead of Jaipur.

Proper red letter day.
Corporately entertained, go 2-0 down, come back with a last minute winner.
Met Peter Odemwingie.
And the starter chutney was made with @thebathams
What a time to be alive!
Apologies for my big red face.

Visit Worcestershire promoting a pub crawl in Bewdley. It's been running 6 weeks but I was still one of the first 250 to get a free beer.
No hardship to finish at the Black Boy.

Fakeaway fail..... Hong Kong Garden have nothing to fear from my chow mein attempt.
Not enough flavour or crunch and to top it all, got leftovers for tomorrow's walk.

Church crawling on a 7 mile butterfly walk between Grafton Flyford and Himbleton, Worcs.
Himbleton has Elizabeth I cost of arms on the chancel wall suggesting a previous visit.
There are no butterflies in October 🤣
