As MAPS celebrates 30 years of transforming Oklahoma City, we're thrilled to reflect on the incredible journey and impact we've had on our community. Scissortail Park, a vision realized through MAPS 3 and managed by Scissortail Park Foundation, stands as a testament to the power of a collective vision and persistent effort dedicated to excellence.
🌳 From our groundbreaking in June 2017 to the Grand Opening in September 2019, Scissortail Park has become a vibrant urban oasis, hosting an exciting range of community programs and special events. It also provided a uniquely safe and beautiful haven during the pandemic. 🎉
Thanks to MAPS 3, Scissortail Park was built debt-free at a cost of $132 million, showcasing financially responsible, sustainable, and quality world-class urban development.
We're immensely grateful to our community, city leaders, Scissortail Park Foundation Board of Directors, supporters and staff, and everyone who contributed to making MAPS and Scissortail Park a success.
Share your favorite Scissortail Park memory using #MAPSturns30, and let's celebrate the past 30 years of growth and transformation together! 🌟

One exciting thing about 2023 is the conclusion of MAPS 3, led by the opening of senior wellness centers in Northeast and far South. This world-class center behind me is coming along well and will flank the Homeland that opened in 2021 at NE 36th and Lincoln. #1OKC
