“It’s really funny, you hear people say, well, we don’t want taller buildings because we don’t want to be Manhattan,” McGovern said. “You know how we’re like Manhattan? We’re second to them in rents.”

Great article by @thecrimson on the importance of housing in the City Council election. It's not enough to say that you support affordable housing, you have to be willing to vote for it, even when it's difficult. I hope to have your #1 vote tomorrow. thecrimson.com/article/2023/…
Thank ou @JimmyTingle for the interview. You've been a good friend. youtu.be/UYzqfyP1I90
While some candidates are pledging to remove bike lanes, I spent my morning with about 30 kids from the Peabody School Bike Bus. Nothing cuter than a bunch of young kids laughing, riding and having fun!
Thank you @GBLCBoston @UNITEHERE26. So honored to have earned your endorsement!

Every Cambridge City Council candidate says they support affordable housing, but this is the slate that will deliver it. Let's elect a truly pro affordable housing Council and move Cambridge forward, not backwards.

Great time at @EastCambBiz Ribfest! What a perfect day for it. As always, my favorite are from @CRLStweets RSTA!
I read the transphobic & anti-Muslim tweets liked and tweeted by Robert Winters. I found them disturbing and dangerous. Any promotion or attention given to these hateful groups only empowers them. These comments don't represent my values or our values as a community.
When you don't have to worry about paying rent, bills, putting food on the table, or being evicted, you have the privilege to think about height and shadows. We need affordable housing now. Let's pass the AHO amendments on October 16th.
