- FIFA made Messi complete 9 successful dribbles—the highest total by any player in a single game at this World Cup. - The referees made Messi create 4 chances, including 2 big chances. - FIFA apparently installed a precision scale on Messi’s right foot so he could deliver crosses with that kind of perfection. - The referees somehow made Messi produce one of the greatest individual performances in World Cup history. - FIFA also made Enzo Fernández strike the ball beautifully and bury it in the net. Sure, “FIFA’s favorite.” May FIFA and the referees keep “helping” you like they supposedly did today. Your excuses are getting weaker with every game. Match after match, you’re only exposing your own bias and proving just how extraordinary Messi is.
