Dear God, @JenniferHomendy is competent, capable and concerned about one thing: the safety of Americans. She works with & challenges Republicans and Democrats. The DSA is more interested in tearing down our country than doing the actual work of governing.

Time and again, Kathy Hochul and her cohorts in Albany have pushed restrictive mandates and regulations down on farmers and rural businesses in Upstate New York. This Governor has said, on live television no less, that Upstate communities “lack the sophistication” to negotiate on their own behalf. Our farmland and our communities deserve a voice, and I’ll fight like hell to make sure they have one. #TeamTague #SD51

ABLE accounts offer freedom & greater independence. Access to and information about them should be given at every service touchpoint from CSE meetings to Medicaid and SNAP enrollment.
Nearly 8 in 10 voters have never heard of ABLE Accounts, including the same percentage of voters with disabilities. Only 4% say they know enough about the accounts to explain how they work.❗❗

NAR's pending home sales index hit 71.2 in August, below any reading from 2008 to 2011.
Contract signings are down roughly 45% from the 2020 peak and about 30% below pre-pandemic levels.
Mortgage rates are the problem: signings peaked in 2021 when rates were near 3%.

As a former county executive, I know mandates compete with roads, public safety and vital services. Albany must take greater responsibility for SNAP administration coordination. Protect families. Confront fraud. Reduce waste. Ease the burden on taxpayers.
