It’s with a heavy heart & deep sadness we must inform you that Yoshitaka Murayama, the scenario writer for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes and head of Rabbit & Bear Studios, passed away on February 6th.

Awful to read about people losing their positions the last few days.
For what it's worth here's Budge's Career postings: budgestudios.com/en/careers/
We're a bilingual company (En/Fr) and they're great about WFH (They're in Montreal and I've been in Vancouver since I started)

Puts 30 to 40 hrs into mega-long RPG or other game
Doesn't play for 2+ months or more
Restart entire game because everything feels out of place and you can't remember anything
Probably gonna do it again too
RT if this is you too. We are not alone.

This is Don Ritchie.
He lived across from a cliff in Australia where people would commit suicide.
Anytime he saw someone in distress, he walked over and invited them to his home for tea.
He saved more than 180 people just by giving them someone they could talk to.

Americans: I use miles and pounds
Europeans: I use kilometres and kilograms
Canadians: [snorting a line of assorted measuring systems] I'm 5'3, I weigh 150lbs, horses weigh 1000kgs, my house is an hour away and I drive 80 km/h to get there, I need a cup of flour and 1L of milk

Ever wondered how water works in video games?
As it turns out, there's a ton of smoke and mirrors in the background, without anyone ever realizing it.
---> another huge 🧵

You should buy this game because it is whimsical and silly, but also the characters are really good.
I helped write a lot of the additional dialogue for Sunshine Shuffle and it's some of my favorite writing I've had a chance to do.
Needed a couple of hours to process some news, but it's time to get the charity stream started again.
Thank you to everyone who has donated and/or joined the livestream so far! I've almost reached my funding goal for the event!

Starting up my #ExtraLife stream! Come join and say hello! I haven't streamed in like four years, so this is gonna be... well, something.

I'd been meaning to post this up a lot sooner but it has been a FULL month. I'm doing the Extra Life campaign on Budge's team this weekend, but it's going to be a mixed marathon since I forgot to book the nights off from bartending.

I'm planning to start my stream on Saturday morning and go until I leave for work around 7pm PST, work my bar shift, and then come home and start streaming again to round out the 24 hours.
