My friend: At this point you have basically sold your sole to VRC.
I look at my 5.6k hrs and my vrc inventory with most of the items that vrchat has sold or have done through events/drops and thousands of dollars of vr equpment.
Me: Yeeaahhh....

Hey look. There's me. :3 Don't normally go to events like this on VRC. Was bugged by a friend irl to go. Glad i did. Was really cool especially with DownLyrics performance with their avi shaders. Recommend ya check out the vod of this event on twitch or other stuff AstrixZ does!

I personally think valve should open source the controllers and possibly the base stations. Allow other companies and individuals to pick up the production and even revise the hardware to be better. Always personally preferred the base station tracking and the controllers (cont.)
VALVE INDEX UPDATE
Valve has formally announced that they will be sun-setting Valve Index. Coupled with this announcement is a new page where you can order the last remaining stock of certain Valve Index hardware. After these are out of stock, Valve Index will no longer be sold on Steam.
The products listed are as follows:
Valve Index Headset
Valve Index Replacement Left Controller
Valve Index Replacement Tether
over most other vr setups. (still havent tried the frame controllers yet but id prob still prefer and still use the index controllers) Would love to see a improved index controller design thats more serviceable or even a improved base station that works with inside out headsets.
Would have been nice if Valve for the Steam Frame gave us a estimated current wait time when having a headset reserved. Doesn't even need to be super accurate. Just needs to give us a rough idea if in a month from now or in the next few days ill get to buy it...
