I think the problem with Iggy’s “Beg For It” was that it was clearly an attempt to recreate the “Fancy” formula. Having MØ sing in a key that didn’t suit her voice was bound to cause problems live. Her vocals were so heavily autotuned that she ended up sounding like Charli XCX.
