“We are subsidizing our own exclusion” - Rep. Joaquin Castro on the fact that Latinos’ tax dollars contribute to the media industry’s federal and state subsidies, even as we over-index in media consumption, and are nearly invisible in front of and behind the camera. #UnidosUS22
At CHCI I will continue to work to provide a platform for thoughtful, informed discussion about creating healthcare solutions while respecting women’s rights. (4/4)
I believe we should be increasing access to healthcare, and maintaining the rights of women to make decisions about their own bodies, their lives, and their future, not restricting them, and reducing access to safe healthcare. (3/4)
The issue of reproductive health and access to quality healthcare services is a major challenge for our nation, that disproportionately impacts Latinas, other women of color, low-income families, and immigrants. (2/4)

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute @CHCI uses wristbands like these for events. They work well, are a great talking piece and takes out the guessing on what makes each person more comfortable.
Green: OK to hug.
Yellow: Let’s do the elbow/fist bump.
Red: Let’s wave hello.
Employers who want workers to come back to their desks are trying to accommodate different degrees of Covid risk tolerance. Enter the humble wristband. nyti.ms/32SKW1w
