Iets meer achtergrond wat er is gebeurd rondom het niet (opnieuw) inschakelen van de overtake mode na de rode vlag in SQ1: Een menselijke fout, ongerelateerd tot de problemen met de tijdwaarneming, iemand gewoon het niet opnieuw geactiveerd.
Nadat dit werd ontdekt is de overtake mode voor 27 sec ingeschakeld geweest. Sommige coureurs hebben die toen kunnen gebruiken, afhankelijk van hun positie op het circuit, omdat de overtake mode alleen voordeel oplevert vanaf 200 km/u (zie de grafiek in het rood omrande kader, en dan de gestippelde lijn vd overtake mode tov de Rev 1 - Standard lijn).
Voor zover ik heb begrepen hebben Aston Martin, Williams en Racing Bulls hier nadeel van ondervonden en die zouden in theorie protest kunnen aantekenen maar alleen Aston Martin zou dit op dit moment nog overwegen.

I believe in the past there were very active discussions on water availability at the circuit. It is really unacceptable that you are not allowed bringing in your own water at the circuit. Even if you bought it at the fanzone. FixIT
