elon was right.
this is the single largest purchase of power-generation by an AI lab, a huge bet that power is the main bottle neck:
in the last few months millions of dollars worth of gpus are collecting dust in data centers as hyperscalers can’t source the power to turn them on. this is costing them $1-3 million per DAY.
elon’s been the only guy to scale temporary power gen via turbines, gas generators and is pivoting spaceX rocket factory’s to build turbines instead - that’s how bad the supply shortage it.
my bet is Elon has the lead by a country mile here. this + his monopoly on orbital compute will king-make spaceX as the #1 neocloud and hyperscaler.
