Why do federal workforce programs fail? A must-read
@TheAtlantic piece by @kevincarey1.
Programs are designed with employers not employees in mind. Local workforce boards dominated by business
decide which jobs are “in-demand."
In-demand jobs aren’t necessarily good jobs.
1/ In @TheAtlantic I wrote about how Congress is poised to double down on one of the great policy failures of the last 30 years -- job training programs that don't work.
