The replies are insane. I beg all of you to look at ANY other country that doesn’t have guns. This is strictly AMERICAN problem and the problem is guns. We don’t even get outraged when children are being murdered is schools, we have no empathy for human life. We cannot have guns.

Gun violence spares no one.
The shooting of Charlie Kirk makes clear that this crisis doesn’t care about ideology or politics — it endangers us all. We know the solutions: stronger background checks, extreme risk protection orders, accountability for the gun industry, and more. What stands in the way is not a lack of answers, but political obstruction. Every day of inaction costs lives.
It’s long past time for leaders of every party to choose people over politics and act.

Dr. Dobson was hugely influential in my family growing up. I’ll never forget the shame I felt as I read and re-read the chapter tucked away at the end of “Preparing for Adolescence” about homosexuality and how unnatural and broken we are. May Focus on the Family crumble. Amen.
Not the obituary I wanted to read today.

You know it’s almost Election Day when the Sesame Street characters have to run a coordinated campaign to keep us from doing another Civil War.

Got to ask Caitlin Clark her final media question as a Hawkeye: How did you hold it all together and bring it every night, all the way to scoring 18 points in the first quarter of the national championship game?
Her final answer as a Hawk:
“Oh, gosh. I don’t know. I don’t get nervous for games. It’s crazy, like it’s the national championship, and I walk out there and I’m as calm as can be. I think that’s because I trust all the work I’ve put in. I know I’ve been ready for these moments. … I know this is my last time playing in a Hawkeye uniform, like there’s nothing to lose. We’re the underdog. Go out there and have a blast. I feel like that’s what I’ve done. I’m proud of the way I’ve carried myself. It’s certainly been hard at times, to always be in the spotlight and have everybody’s eyeballs on you. But I wouldn’t change it for the world. The positive and the negative. I’m so lucky, I’m so fortunate. That’s what I always remind myself. There’s so many people that would want to be in my shoes. It’s been a lot of pressure, but it’s been a lot of fun. And I feel like our team has risen to every single moment, every single challenge. Just so proud of our program.”

No athlete deserves death threats no matter what takes place on the court. Whether it’s Angel Reese, Gabbie Marshall or anyone else. And anyone justifying this is just a disgusting human being period.

Dawn Staley says trans women should be allowed to play women’s sports. Says she knows she’s going to get heat now before the biggest game, and she’s okay with that.
(I believe it was Outkick that asked the question.)
What an incredible statement of inclusivity from Dawn. Wow.
