Chuck Schumer is the most uninspiring majority leader I can imagine. Yesterday was inspiring. The Democrats fielded an exceptionally talented,politically attractive, younger field of candidates. Schumer is none of those things. Time for a new majority Leader in the Senate.
Kinda sux that the independent in Nebraska is losing. It may not be a popular thing to say but the Dem that insisted on staying in the race, as was her right, may have caused the seat to stay in GOP's hands. Maybe, or maybe not, but the numbers seem to indicate it. Bummer.

As bad as tonight is for repubs they really oughta consider themselves lucky - lucky that more of them weren't up for re-election! God only knows how many seats Dems could have picked up if that had been the case.

Honestly, feeling a bit overwhelmed by this evening. It's almost a sensory overload. So many flips, so many numbers, so much info. It's like being kept in a dark cave for years & suddenly emerging into the sunlight. It feels wonderful, but it takes a sec to get one's bearings.
Interested to see if Media feels freed up tomorrow to start asking the tough questions of trump now that he's the lamest of ducks. Oh, I know, there have been a few that stood up to him, but there have been too many who didn't. Will they finally redeem themselves now? Hope so.
