Sad #Iran #EvilIranianRegime killed its own young people…the hope and talent of their own country. Ridiculous.
A live bullet tore into Alireza Khodadadei’s side. Shotgun pellets struck the back of his head and his legs. He was rushed to hospital and taken into surgery, but the bleeding was too severe and his lung had been badly damaged. Alireza died. He was 19 years old. And when his family buried him, he was still wearing his hospital clothes. Alireza was from Najafabad, Isfahan. He had only just started university. He was a first semester electrical engineering student at Azad University of Najafabad, at the very beginning of the life he was trying to build for himself. And university wasn’t all he was doing. He was also working as a barista at Cafe Park in Najafabad. He had recently bought himself a car. He was already thinking about the next step: starting his own business and earning his own income. First semester. A job. A new car. His whole adult life is only just starting. On the evening of January 8, 2026, Alireza was outside the fire station in Najafabad when he was shot. The bullet entered his side. Pellets hit his head and legs. People got him to hospital. Doctors operated. But they couldn’t stop the damage inside his body. By the next day, instead of going back to university, back to the café, or getting into the car he had only recently bought, Alireza was being buried in Najafabad cemetery. Still in his hospital clothes. There is something so so cruel about how unfinished his life feels. He hadn’t finished even one semester of university. He hadn’t opened the business he was planning. He had barely had time to enjoy the car he’d worked to buy. His name was Alireza Khodadadei. #IranWar‌ #KingRezaPahlavi‌ForIran #جاویدشاه

#WomensRightsWorldwide This woman is a hero. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
She was born in Iran and built her life in Afghanistan a woman's rights activist with a voice that frightened the men around her. So her ex-husband threw acid on her face. In the hospital, after the surgeries, she sat with her head shaved doctors had taken skin from her scalp to rebuild her face. She was still bandaged, still bleeding, still healing. But her son was not by her side. He was living with his father. And his father set the condition: if you want to talk to your son, you will do it on a video call so I can see what you've become. She accepted. She needed to hear her child's voice. On that call, her ex-husband looked at her destroyed face and smiled. He said: "Look at you. You've become like a monster. You'll never dare go out in public again people will be terrified when they see you. I dare you. I dare you to go out and talk about women's rights." He thought he had broken her. He thought that face was the end of her. He was wrong. Every scar on her face became a sentence in her speech. They took her beauty so she took his fear and turned it into courage. Today she walks in public with her head high, and she speaks about women's rights louder than ever. He wanted to bury her in shame. Instead, he gave the world a witness. That is why I invited her to our Freedom gala in Poland to dedicate to her the Medal of Freedom I received. Because she is the symbol of resilience itself: the symbol of every woman whose face was burned but whose voice could not be silenced. Thank you, Poland for opening your doors, for giving visas to my delegation of women from Iran, Afghanistan, and Cameroon. We are about to start a global women's rights movement and we will go together, all of us, to the German Parliament very soon. This time, I invited 10 women. In Berlin, we will invite more dissidents. @FahimaSarfaraz

Baby Anhelina and her mom Inna were killed by Russia yesterday. Anhelina was just over a year old. Her mom, Inna Mariukhna, was a primary school teacher. They were in the park in Nova Vodolaha, Kharkiv region, when a Russian drone attacked. Little Anhelina was killed in her stroller. Her mom died of her injuries in hospital. Another girl killed in the strike was just 11 years old. Six people lost their lives from that Russian strike. All of them had simply been spending time in the park. At least 15 more were injured, including seven kids. Deepest condolences...

#Iran So very tragic and sad. 💔💔💔
There is a heartbreaking video from the night her 11 years old daughter learned that her mother had been killed. That’s the part I can’t get past. Somayeh Ghobadi, 39, was on her way home from work when she was shot directly in the heart by the Islamic Republic forces. At home, her daughter Dorsa was waiting for her. Her mum never walked through the door. Somayeh was 39 years old. She worked as a seamstress and was raising and providing for her daughter. On the night of January 8, 2026, at around 7 pm she finished another day’s work and began making her way home through Naziabad, Tehran. She was shot and killed in her heart. And somewhere in all of this was a child who didn’t yet know why her mother was late. Somayeh wasn’t supposed to become a photograph for her daughter to hold. She was supposed to come home. She was supposed to keep working, sewing, providing for her child, watching her grow up. Instead, her family had to search for her body and eventually retrieve it from Kahrizak. Somayeh was taken back to the Asadabad area of Hamadan and buried there. At her memorial, people stood together and sang “Ey Iran.” And Dorsa was left to grow up without the woman who had been working every day to give her a life. Dorsa celebrated her 11th birthday with her mother and 12th birthday on her mother’s grave. 💔😭 #IranMassacre‌ #KingRezaPahlavi‌ForIran #جاویدشاه

#selfdrivingcars - big NO from me. I’m ok with lane assist, cruise control, etc….but to sleep while the vehicle drives itself….not worth the risk. Dammit people!

#denaturalization wd affect tons of responsible, good US citizens. How far back is #StephenMiller willing to go? It goes beyond #IlhanOmar. It affects people we all interact with & maybe depend on for life-saving treatment, research, police, fire, rescue workers, teachers…

So sad. I hate this #EvilIranianRegime so much.
Islamic Republic forces shot Mehdi Nosrati Bildashi in the abdomen. He survived the bullet and then spent eight months slowly dying from what it did to his body. Mehdi was 21 years old. A taekwondo athlete from Pakdasht. On January 8, 2026, he was shot with live ammunition during the protests. The bullet caused devastating injuries to his pancreas and intestines. Then began eight months of hospitals and operating rooms. Mehdi underwent around 30 surgeries. Thirty. The injuries left him struggling to eat. A young athlete who had once built his body through sport lost more than 30 kilograms. And still he kept fighting to stay alive. For eight months. Until his body could not take anymore. On September 12, complications from his injuries and a lung infection finally killed him. Eight months of his young life became surgeries, pain, weight loss and trying to survive a single bullet. He was ONLY 21. #IranMassacre‌ #KingRezaPahlavi‌ForIran #جاویدشاه

Protest notes saying that “this regime is collapsing” were posted on railings at the University of Isfahan in central Iran, a video sent to Iran International shows. “Student brothers! This regime is collapsing. The days are hard, but with a little patience, perseverance and resilience everything will change. They are on their way out,” the notes read.

Just 26 years old — shot in front of his home and his mother. A life that will never be completed bc of the #EvilIranianRegime 💔💔💔
Ali Shahrokh Rahmani, 26, was leaving home with his mother when he was shot in the throat. His mother was wounded too. Shahrokh died there, outside his own home in Hesar, Karaj. He had already completed 19 months of compulsory military service. Only a couple of months left. He worked in a cafe and had plans for when service finally ended. He wanted to change his car, build a better life for himself, open a small cafe, get married, and train professionally in massage therapy. His friends remembered him as energetic, hardworking, always cheerful and someone who loved travelling. More than anything, he was deeply attached to his family and especially close to his sister. He was so close to finishing the part of his life he had been waiting to get through. Two more months of military service. Instead, he was shot outside his home with his mother beside him. Shahrokh was buried at Golzare Shohada cemetery in Hesar. #IranWar‌ #KingRezaPahlavi‌ForIran #جاویدشاه

He was only 15 years old. “You may see me struggle, but you will never see me surrender.” Those words were written on Amirali Ghanbarzadeh’s shirt in a photo his father later shared. Amirali was 16 years old. He was a student, a basketball player for Pas Basketball Academy’s youth team, and he loved gymnastics too. He was the oldest child in his family. His little sister Barana was only three. On January 9, 2026, Amirali insisted on joining the protests in Garmdarreh. His family was worried. He told them: “We have to take our rights back from this regime.” In a voicemail from that night, Amirali can be heard saying: “I was at the protests…” Then, sounding worried, he asks for his father to be contacted: “Please,I’ll send you my dad’s number” Parts of the recording are difficult to make out, but hearing his voice knowing what happened only minutes later is heartbreaking. Amirali had been outside for less than ten minutes when he was shot in front of his mother. Witnesses remembered him moving ahead of the crowd with his arms stretched out, trying to protect the people behind him. It looked almost like the defensive stance he had learned playing basketball. Then Islamic Republic forces fired. Three live bullets struck Amirali in the head. He was taken for medical treatment and remained alive until around 2:30 in the morning, when doctors told his family there was nothing more they could do. The next day, his parents went looking for his body. There were so many dead that some bodies had been placed in corridors, and there weren’t even enough black body bags for all of them. Amirali’s face had been so badly damaged that his parents struggled to recognise him. They eventually identified their 15 year old son by his clothes. His number was 237. Authorities then pressured his family to either call Amirali a Basij member killed as a “martyr” or say that he had fallen from a rooftop. His family refused to let the regime claim him as its own. Amirali was eventually buried with only a small number of relatives allowed to attend. No public mourning. No mosque ceremony. And at home, his three year old sister was still waiting for her big brother. His mother later wrote: “Amirali my dear, Barana misses you so much. Your place is so empty for mom.” A boy who had said, “We have to take our rights back from this regime.” And one of the last things preserved in his own voice is him trying to make sure someone contacted his dad. The jailed wife of an Iranian protester executed this week is being interrogated and pressured to deny that the couple married shortly before his execution, a source familiar with the case told Iran International. Mahshad Kashani, a 22-year-old student serving a five-year prison sentence, has also had her phone contact with people outside Dowlatabad prison in Isfahan cut off, according to information obtained by Iran International on Saturday. The source said relatives of both Kashani and her husband, Alireza Sepahi, have also been pressured to deny that the marriage took place. iranintl.com/en/202610100134
