The sick death cult that is russia bombed an animal shelter. Any help for the shelter would be appreciated!
The "Loving Hearts" shelter caught fire overnight during shelling in the Odesa region.
According to preliminary reports, 15 cats and 5 dogs were killed.
A terrible, agonizing death...
Let’s collect some help together. I’ll start

The United Nations recognizes Russia's systematic strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure as war crimes and crimes against humanity. Russians also trafficked foreign nationals for fight with their armed forces invading Ukraine.

Honestly, I think this is the article I am most proud of. Eva died in a double-tap strike while trying to rescue people a few minutes from her home. I attended Eva's funeral and met some of those closest to her.

Ukraine already came to America's aid after 9/11, supported US operations in Afghanistan and sent around 1700 troops to Iraq as part of the US-led coalition. More than 5000 Ukrainians served in Iraq, and 18 lost their lives. Ukraine did all this without being a NATO member. Perhaps learn some history before questioning what Ukraine has ever done for America.
Ukraine's energy and power workers - among so many others holding the industries of their war-torn country on their shoulders - are absolute heroes. As winter approaches, I pray for their safety, and for peace for the fallen.
A russian drone attack has killed our colleague Valentyn Kotelevskyi, 41.
Originally from Lysychansk, Valentyn had relocated to Pavlohrad and worked at one of our coal mines.
His colleagues remember him as someone who was always ready to help and support others, especially during difficult times.
Our deepest condolences go to Valentyn’s family, loved ones and colleagues.
May he rest in peace.

By the time I got to the war, the infrastructure was such that while we loved the candy, razors etc. in the care packages, the real treats were these absolutely unhinged kids greeting cards. We used to sit around in the DFAC giving dramatic readings of them, totally out of love. They were so innocent and unintentionally hilarious, which was much needed.
This is so disheartening. I worked with Gen. Flynn in the HQ ISAF CJOC in Afghanistan. At that time, he was kind, approachable, so smart, clearly committed to the welfare of his soldiers, and a nice firewall between all of us and McChrystal (who was very capable but could be quite abrasive to civilians). It makes me so sad to see him swirl the drain of russian bullshit.
This is something so “online weird” - the same bots who post endlessly about UKRAINE BAD are also smack in the middle of the hot-button culture war, when most in-person MAGAs I know are either neutral or positive on Ukraine and are mostly obsessed with immigration.
These idiots continue to miss the point.
Regardless of the food (back when I could eat real food some dishes were bangers!), the decor is uniformly AWFUL. There’s glyphs in there that look like the flaming Eye of Sauron. Now imagine it, done dictator style. Point stands.

This chart is insane. This shows Russia's casualties over time compared to Russia's territorial gains in Ukraine over the last five years.
No sane or rational person would say continuing the war to try and take more of Ukraine's territory is worth the casualties.

It's not "just social media" or just grifting or people competing for attention.
Russian officials call it their "comprehensive ecosystem."
A Russian psyops group calls it their "family of podcasts."

@ryanmauro claims Russia is exploiting Charlie Kirk’s assassination to hijack his legacy and TPUSA by pushing conspiracy theories online, as part of a broader effort to divide Americans through information warfare.
Ryan brings receipts and pretty damn convincing.

💣BOMBSHELL REPORT:
Remember what I said on my podcast yesterday about Russian influence ops' narrative seeding, watering, amplification & laundering process.
Pair the framing of the riots in France by Tucker Carlson and the like with this report and the other evidence of Russian involvement and you'll see what's actually going on.

"The Music That Might Have Been"
Austin Wintory, renowned composer behind games like Journey, releases 22 minutes of early Mass Effect 5 musical drafts from his pitch to compose the game:
"Working on Mass Effect 5 was my career's biggest dream project, my white whale. It is my favorite franchise of all time, and for the last couple years I'd been in serious conversations with BioWare and EA to jump in.
My suggestion was to treat the original game's masterful Jack Wall/Sam Hulick score as a starting point, and to build on it from there with deeper use of physical, analog synths and a more tightly interwoven use of the orchestra. But a love letter first and foremost (not unlike my approach to the Aliens franchise with Fireteam Elite).
As part of the ongoing dialogue, I decided last year (2025) to surprise the folks with an elaborate production: nearly 20 minutes of music, fully recorded and produced with synths, vocals and a large orchestra here in LA. I'd not yet learned any narrative details of what they were planning so this was just pure musical exploration.
Receiving the news alongside everyone else that EA had decided to not only cancel the project but shutdown BioWare entirely was a deeply felt loss. It's been hard to see dear friends lose their jobs, and this beloved franchise seemingly vanish forever.
Thank you nonetheless to everyone at BioWare and EA's music department for gifting me the chance to dream in your sandbox. It was a privilege to do even that much."
