LIFE IS SHORT; YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN IT'S YOUR TIME Connie and I were coming out of the baggage area at Reagan National Airport to go to the rental car area. A man in front of us stepped off of the curb, took 3 or 4 steps , and fell flat on his face. I immediately called 911. Two other bystanders gave CPR but it was to know avail. I believe he was dead before he hit the pavement. So sad. James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BEG YOU. YOU SHOULD WANT TO. The midterm elections are right around the corner, and in some states, early voting has already begun. I have a few liberal friends on Facebook and X, and I want to say something right here and now: I LOVE THEM! I will never end a friendship simply because someone disagrees with me politically. We can disagree about politics without hating one another. That being said, if you know anything about me, you know there are some things I am extremely passionate about: my love for Jesus Christ, my love for my family, my love for the United States Marine Corps, and my love for America! I fought for this country in South Vietnam, and I left both of my legs on that battlefield. I’ve said it hundreds of times, and I’ll say it again: If I was willing to fight for America in South Vietnam, you had better believe I’m willing to stand up and fight for America right here at home! My children, my grandchildren, and the great-grandchildren who will come after me are worth standing up for. Their future matters to me. The America we leave them matters to me. I am deeply concerned about the direction of our nation. I believe some of the greatest threats to America’s future are coming from within our own borders. I cannot understand why anyone would come to this great country seeking its opportunities and freedoms, only to advocate replacing the very principles that made those opportunities possible. HOW FOOLISH! America is not perfect. We have made mistakes, and we have sins for which we need to repent. But I still believe America is worth loving, worth defending, and worth preserving for generations yet unborn. I don’t have to hate someone who disagrees with me to stand firmly for what I believe. AND THAT BRINGS ME TO THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT: GET OUT AND VOTE! Don’t sit at home thinking your vote doesn’t matter. Don’t assume somebody else will make the decisions for you. Study the candidates, examine what they stand for, consider the future of your children and grandchildren, and then cast your ballot according to your conscience and convictions. Election Day is November 3, 2026. If you can vote early, do so. If you vote on Election Day, make a plan to get to the polls. Men and women have fought, suffered, and died defending the freedoms we enjoy. One of the most important ways we exercise those freedoms is through the ballot box. I gave my legs for this country. I haven’t given up my voice, my convictions, or my love for America! And as long as God gives me breath, I will continue to stand for the things I hold dear. LOVE YOUR COUNTRY. STAND BY YOUR CONVICTIONS. RESPECT YOUR NEIGHBORS. AND ABOVE ALL, EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE! GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, GOD BLESS OUR FAMILIES, AND GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! 🇺🇸

To Texas residents: If your pastor brags about voting for Talerico, this coming Sunday is the right time to start looking for a new church. Talerico is a heretic of the highest order, and most likely your pastor is too.

CHRISTIANS, THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO SIT ON THE SIDELINES! America is at a crucial crossroads, and the decisions we make today will help shape the future of our nation for generations to come. There are people in this country who want to fundamentally change America, and many of them are running for public office. We are facing serious questions about the sanctity of human life, border security, government responsibility, the Second Amendment, and the values that will guide our nation. How can we remain silent when some politicians support abortion even late in pregnancy? How can we ignore the debate over open borders and immigration policies while so many American citizens are struggling and in need? These are issues that deserve our attention, our prayers, and our voices. Christians, our faith should influence how we live, how we lead, and how we vote. We must not leave our biblical convictions at the church door when we enter the voting booth. I’m asking you—no, I’m BEGGING you—to vote! Study the issues. Know where the candidates stand. Pray for wisdom. And vote according to your biblical convictions. I gave both of my legs in service to this country during the Vietnam War. I know something about sacrifice for America. I’m not asking you to sacrifice your legs. I’m simply asking you to do something that every eligible American has the opportunity to do. GET OUT AND VOTE! Don’t take your freedom for granted. Don’t assume someone else will do it. And don’t sit on the sidelines while decisions are being made that will affect our children and grandchildren. Days like today are special! 22 saved in the 8 a.m. service, 37 saved in the 9:30 a.m. service, and 52 saved in the 11 a.m. service! 111 people called on the name of the Lord. 111 people received Jesus Christ as their own personal Lord and Savior! This NEVER gets old! Heaven came down this morning at The River Church in Marion, Indiana. Months ago, my Cousin, Rick Smith, gave his pastor, Matthew Trexler, my autobiography, Born on the Fifth of July. He read it and was moved to have me come and speak to the church. This church is young (19 years old) and on fire for the Lord. Over 1800 in attendance today. In a couple of weeks they will move into their brand new campus.

I agree! Goodnight, most people do not excel the first day on a new job. They should have given her at least a month to adjust. If it was her lawyer thing then the administration should have done a better job in vetting her.

Pastors, do not be afraid to speak out on issues affecting Christians in America. You may even legally endorse candidates. The IRS stated in a July 2025 court filing that houses of worship can endorse political candidates from the pulpit without losing their tax-exempt status, effectively scaling back enforcement of the 1954 Johnson Amendment for specific plaintiff groups
