We are proud to support this Family Fun Day in aid of Lyla’s Law.
Alongside family-friendly entertainment, including bouncy castles, face painting, games, raffles, music and stalls, the day aims to shine a light on the importance of diagnosing type 1 diabetes early and the difference that greater awareness can make, whilst also raising funds for HEY Kids Type 1 Support Group.

DVLA rules on driving changed last year, allowing Group 2 (bus and lorry) drivers to use continuous glucose monitoring for driving. However, the new rules and advice have added complexity to an already confusing subject.

New CPD modules: Lipid management in people with diabetes
The PCDO Society has launched a free CPD series on lipid management, with four interactive modules now available:
1️⃣Lipids basics
2️⃣Cardiovascular risk assessment
3️⃣Statin therapy
4️⃣Non-statin options
A fifth module, applying these principles to patients with complications and comorbidities, will follow soon.
