$40 trillion in debt and counting! Agencies pushing out as much unspent money as possible days before the fiscal year ends to ensure the base the following year is not reduced. It’s the bureaucracy playing games with our future. Nothing unconstitutional about the executive branch preventing such abuse and waste. And these funds were for illegal aliens and leftwing groups and causes to boot. This is less than $1 billion in a multi-trillion dollar budget! We’re going over a fiscal cliff!
Without warning or consultation, Congress just received an $810 million package of pocket rescissions from the Administration. This is the most recent attempt by this Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to undermine Congress’s Constitutional power of the purse.
This move shows that OMB intentionally withheld these funds for months to execute this unlawful cancellation of appropriations that were approved on a bipartisan basis and signed into law.
Not only is the delay itself an impoundment that was not reported to Congress, but also it is a usurpation of Congress’s appropriations powers. OMB is an agency of the executive branch. It does not get to decide which programs are worth funding.
The independent Government Accountability Office has concluded that pocket rescissions are unlawful and not permitted by the Impoundment Control Act. Any effort to rescind appropriated funds without congressional approval is a clear violation of the law.

Congress was never granted the authority under the constitution to take money from the American people under threat of arrest so that they could then donate it to foreign governments or foreign nationals whether abroad or here domestically. You never had the authority to designate money for the support of foreign nationals in this nation, The constitution never granted you that power Congress unlawfully granted itself this. The constitution is quite limited in your permissions here it is explicitly in the defense of this nation and its well-being. Supporting foreign nationals has nothing to do with either of those things. America is not an international refugee camp nor an international fucking charity.

Jim Jordan drops a 57-page report accusing Jack Smith and the Biden DOJ of trying to tilt the 2024 election with public disclosures of his probe's findings.
The report alleges DOJ's own Public Integrity Section warned subpoenas to lawmakers could be unconstitutional but approved them anyway, calculating there was little "litigation risk" because the gag orders would keep lawmakers in the dark. Members of Congress were reportedly unaware of the surveillance for more than two years.
Jordan says Smith's team "ran roughshod over key constitutional protections" and broke protocol by releasing a massive trove of alleged evidence weeks before the 2024 presidential election to sway public opinion. The report also claims Smith privately admitted to then-AG Merrick Garland that lawmakers "likely have a valid Speech or Debate privilege" — but Garland gave his blessing to proceed anyway.
