After 10+ years using Telegram it’s time to say bye bye. Even tho I’ve locked down my privacy settings I can’t shake off the relentless spam messages. As I mainly used it as a side channel for wife chats, we can now move over to the excellent Nextcloud Talk #nextcloud #telegram

Down at Pera Business centre where I have my virtual office. There’s now a hot-desk area in the on-site cafe, which means there’s now no excuse to get out for a good coffee and see some real people whilst working.

I’ve called the app NowTunes and it’s a minimalist desktop “Now Playing” widget for Linux, built with Python, GTK4 and libadwaita, designed to show what’s currently playing in your media player using the MPRIS interface.
