🚨Dimitar Babertov on why Chelsea Wants Danny Welbeck and Jordan Henderson 🗣️ Some people are fuming about the fact that Xabi Alonso approved the signing of Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck from Brentford and Brighton respectively. Chelsea already have the likes of Joao Pedro,Dastan Satpaev,Liam Delap,Nicolas Jackson, Emegha and Even Marc Guiu as strikers. Then in the midfield, there's Romeo Lavia,Enzo Fernandez,Moises Caicedo,Dario Essugo Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck are 36 and 35 years old respectively. When you look at their age, you will notice something. Alonso is going for players that can bring in experience and leadership in the dressing room and also on the pitch. Jordan Henderson is going to help the younger midfield players while Danny Welbeck is going to inspire the strikers. Xabi Alonso was a footballer and his dad was a coach. He played under Pep Guardiola,Jose Mourinho,Rafa Benitez,Carlo Ancelotti and he knows the game too well. For me he's intentional about signing Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck and he's acting from experience. Those that doubts what he's doing today are going to applaud him once the season starts.
