this guy won't shut up about not wanting to have kids
no one cares dude, who are you talking to
Seth Rogen says he and his wife are now more grateful than ever that they decided not to have children he’s not afraid to explain why.
He admits they used to question whether they’d made the right decision, but now their conversations have shifted to, “Honestly, thank God we don’t have children.”
His reasoning? They’re in the prime of their lives, understand themselves better than ever, and have the freedom to pursue their careers, enjoy life, and build the kind of relationship they’ve always wanted.
But Seth took it a step further, saying he sees people with children struggling to find the same time for work and personal enjoyment that he and his wife have.
“I seem to get a lot more active enjoyment out of not having kids than anyone I know seems to get out of having kids.”
That statement will probably divide people. Some see raising children as life’s greatest joy, while others believe a fulfilling life doesn’t have to include parenthood.
Do you think Seth has a point, or is there a kind of happiness you can only understand after having children?

It's a mistake think to that because high physical fitness is associated with lower death rates that you need to exercise hours a week.
Most of the benefit of exercise comes from just getting moving, and large amounts of strenuous exercise can be non-optimal.
Slowly my entire gaming PC's desktop is ported to web (lots of old games)
Meaning I'd not need a gaming PC anymore (except for Flight Simulator 2024)
Loading these old games in web is way faster than on even the fastest PC right now (mine is an RTX5090)

Great list. My family and I have been and are continuing to aggressively pursue all 10 of these points.
this is a childlike view of the world and what matters. this is how children make decisions.
After France Gigabyte tax, Germany's AI tax now Italy is proposing an exit tax
Europe is out of money
JUST IN: ITALY EXIT TAX
🇮🇹 Italy proposes a 26% exit tax on unrealized investment gains for people leaving the country from 2027.
It’d apply to those with €800k+ in relevant assets who were tax residents for at least 6 of the last 10 years.
I've been warning you: European countries are bankrupt and will try to seize your assets.
The exit is closing.

Barzun was amazing, an original member of The Paideia Group organized by Mortimer Adler, which promoted Socratic Seminars in schools. This piece on “Of What Use the Classics Today?” is the best piece on how texts become canonical (including why “classics” change) I’ve seen,

And the book below is fabulous, well worth reading.
Sam Altman says its bad that everyone's personal computers are using the world's limited supply of memory chips.
"It’s quite terrible to have everybody have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAMs sitting in their own computer, and being used 5% of the time. Like, you want maximum utilization."

The pipeline of 2010s Self Improvement Influencer to complete crashout needs to be studied. Ryan Holiday isn't the only case. It's wild since a bunch from that blogosphere era completely went off the deep end
