Seven teams have higher payrolls than the Brewers and Rays combined payroll of $241,821,789.
Figures via @Spotrac.
In 2008, O’s GM Andy MacPhail said Tampa Bay removes the excuse that the AL East is “unfair” to lower payroll teams.
Last 20 yrs, Rays have 13 winning seasons, 10 playoff seasons & now 3 World Series appearances.
Last 20 yrs, O’s have 7 winning seasons, 5 playoffs, 0 W.S.
Honored to speak at the fund raiser for the Little Sisters of the Poor at Rolling Rd Golf Club in Catonsville. The Sisters do compassionate works of mercy for the elderly at their St. Martin’s home. Please help their beautiful mission 🙏 littlesistersofthepoorbaltim…

As the Rays' ALDS series shifts to New York, Brooklyn-born Richie Palacios finds himself back at home.
Last year, Richie and his brother, Josh, hosted the Built Different clinic, giving back to the place they're from. The clinic gave more than 150 New York students a chance to play alongside and learn from professionals, like teammate Chandler Simpson. No matter where his career takes him, Richie will never forget from where he came.
Manny Machado RBI single scores Jackson Merrill in a playoff game.
Machado’s first career postseason RBI was with the Orioles in 2012 when Merrill was a 9 yr old little leaguer in Severna Park.

Yankees clinched a winning record for 34th straight yr.
Perspective: O’s have 36 winning seasons…in their history.

He’s a good baseball player & an even better person. Young players can learn from the veteran @TreyMancini
I had an unplanned opportunity to assist Johnny O & his coach in a hitting workout at a local facility in the lead up to the Congressional baseball game. The MD Rep has a sweet lefty swing!
But oh what a play by MO Sen Schmitt in the game!
Keep swinging, Johnny! ⚾️👍
He’s back!
34 year old Trey Mancini gets his 1st #MLB hit & RBI since 2023.
Blessings, brother! 🙏 @TreyMancini
