Next Saturday wraps up the October Camarilla webinar series, and I’m so grateful that 30 of you trusted me to teach you this strategy. Some of you are already trading these pivots better than I do! Even with all my experience, I’m watching your trades thinking, damn, you guys are freaking killing it. Day 2 of only trading the break and retest of Camarilla pivots Higher range, narrow pivots on ES today. By my rules, that favors bullish expansion, so I was looking for a hold of CP or S3. Overnight, we didn’t get that. Price swept S4 instead, which triggered another of my setups... the sweep and reclaim. We broke back above S4, retested it at the open almost to the penny, and expanded through R4 into R6, taking out yesterday’s high. I never expected us to continue lower, even when I opened my charts and we were sitting near S4. With higher-range and narrow pivots, the rules call for upside expansion. The only thing that would have changed that was a 15-minute close below S4 in the New York session, and even then, I would have stepped aside for the day. If you have my strategies and missed the S4 retest, ES also gave a super clean break and retest of R3. You could have taken that into yesterday’s high liquidity, even all the way to R6. I did attempt a scalp last night and lost on some evals. But with my other accounts, I recovered nicely today, and I’m green on the day, about $2,000.
