The goal is to write three books or more that are received well.
Then, maybe to write for a videogame, comic book or film.
And then? Write something about MMA.

The works of Austen, Dickens & Shakespeare were written to be enjoyed by ordinary, working-class people, and the idea that they can only truly be read and understood by elites is profoundly bad for society.

I’m not kidding when I say they’re coming for literacy next. Elites are currently using their wealth & power to dismantle mass education. This is the reason AI is being shoved into everything. This is the reason everyone suddenly seems dumber. They want you to be illiterate.

Let’s get a few things clear
1) All people deserve safety, regardless of their views
2) Conflation of Israel and British Jews is always wrong, regardless who’s doing it
3) If you’re using today to score points then you probably don’t care about the victims as much as you claim

With universities in free fall and Big Tech building machines designed to destroy your brain, you need to be proactive in pursuing your own education. Study history. Seek out the classics. Learn languages. Form reading groups. If you don't read, you're not going to make it.

What you do in private, shows in public. Reading shows in a conversation. Your diet shows in energy. Your discipline shows in confidence. Your focus shows in your results. You are what you cultivate when no one is watching. Prioritize your time & focus on discipline/consistency.

I'm thrilled to announce the publication of my first book, The Yoruba Are on A Rock (Sep 2025)! If you work at a library/school/heritage organisation in Grenada & would like a free copy along with other educational materials, please send me a message.

If you're using AI to write essays, eulogies, a text to your wife, I do think less of you as a person. Ceding your mental and creative abilities to a machine is an embarrassing thing and people should be ashamed to admit doing it in public.

I’m at a Black community function.
They have comedians on. It’s evident that their usual crowd is white English people. Because WOW.
There’s elders in the crowd and there’s f bombs, crude jokes about graphic sexual acts, “jokes” about religions
And the crowd is LIVID 😭
I don't know if it's becoming a parent or just getting older that's done it, but I'm far more judgemental of emotionally dysregulated people.
Especially people who do shit while the camera is on them. How do you see a camera, know the power of social media and crash out?

I remain deeply and sincerely unimpressed by all AI art. The point, even in the most ‘perfect’ art, is the imperfection — the way in which the subject is translated through an imperfect human ‘soul’ into its medium. This cannot and will never be reproducible by a soulless machine

This is why your little AI and ChatGPT will never suffice. Writing is about the work and the process. You can’t bypass all that and still call yourself a writer.

Schumer may not have intended it this way but he actually shows here that the Palestinian case is perfectly rational while the Israeli case depends on a theology that only they believe in. If that's "the reason there is not peace" then Palestinians are not at fault.
