people wanna know everyone’s business until it goes against the narrative they wanted to push, then it’s keep that stuff off the internet and handle it privately, no one cares about what actually is going on
end of what was a fun few years of social media with decent intentions

Tolerating always turns to resentment. At first, you call it patience, then love. But what it really is, is self abandonment. Every time you swallow a boundary, excuse a pattern or silence your discomfort, something inside you keeps score. Likes And eventually, the bill comes due.

10 random rules for life:
1. Workout every day. Ideally outside.
2. Talk shit, gossip, make jokes with your friends
3. Don't be a hater; if you could do it better go do it better.
4. Start a family. If you can. Most can. Less DraftKings Parlays and eating Zyns. Find yourself a purpose (usually it's kids/fam)
5. Work. We made to work. Even if your job is silly like mine (b2b marketing) it gives you purpose beyond family and helps pay for things (you need money in our world).
6. Don't monetize your hobbies; have hobbies and enjoy them. Not everything needs to be a side project.
7. No need to optimize everything. We're all going to die. It's OK if you only got 9k steps today you will be OK.
8. Listen to rap/hip hop as much as you can
9. Be kind. Even to the Chipotle guy or the blue haired person at Starbucks. Say hello. Say thank you. Have a nice day. You get back what you put out there.
10. Read something every day. It's incredible how much there is to learn about life, history, religion, earth. Study something. Very rewarding how we can get smarter as we go.

A guy moves to a new city with zero friends.
He picks 2 spots and goes every week.
He learns the staff's names. Then the owner's. Then the regulars'.
Month 3, he walks in and 4 people wave.

Crimsix used to preach it all the time, and I truly understood what it felt later on in life
Work so hard, so much volume, so much preparation where it feels impossible to lose. Walk into anything you’re doing know you’ve already won
True confidence from true preparation

My theory is that this is a trap for bachelorette parties, strategically luring them away from actually gay bars. In the end, they will be vindicated as heroes.

ilhan omar is a naturalized black muslim woman & an outspoken critic of trump and us foreign wars. its not an accident that they're targeting her with lawfare to engage in electioneering. this is unprecedented. this is a perversion of justice that further erodes our social fabric
The Office of Congresswoman Omar released the following statement:
“This raid by Trump’s DHS is an outrageous abuse of power and an unprecedented escalation in the weaponization of federal law enforcement to target political enemies. For a decade, Donald Trump has relentlessly targeted Congresswoman Ilhan Omar with inflammatory rhetoric, repeatedly putting a target on her back. Now, those attacks have escalated to a pointless federal raid. The Congresswoman has done nothing wrong. No president should be able to use the power of the federal government to intimidate his political enemies.”
