17 busloads of ordinary people from the Ukrainian town of Oleshky, who had been on the brink of starvation under Russian occupation, chose to evacuate to Ukrainian-controlled territory.
Only 4 busloads chose to go to Russia.
That, pretty much, tells you everything you need to know about what Ukrainians want, even after all these years of this inhumane war.

GOP Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick says if Elon Musk ordered the slowdown of Starlink in Ukraine, "that is likely a violation of the law."
"We've gotta investigate...We've got to call the witnesses, got to bring them in, put them under oath, and get to the bottom of it. Because this is this is a very, very serious matter. It cannot be glossed over."

Those stupid Russian generals driving their tanks off the highway and straight into our mud

Trump: "The Russians had a thousand tanks on a concrete road. They would have reached the country in four hours at a tank's maximum speed of 48 miles per hour. Nothing could have stopped them. The war would have ended in one day.
This very stupid general - I don't know who he is; I doubt he is still alive - turned right onto farmland, then left toward Kyiv, instead of staying on the highway where they would have advanced successfully. It would have taken three and a half to four hours, and the war would have been over. In the end, he got stuck in the mud."

Russian tanks did use highways to Kyiv in 2022 and took heavy losses. The main reason the 40-mile convoy failed was it lacked fuel and food. Ukraine blew bridges, flooded the Irpin, and ambushed columns.

So, a thousand Russian tanks were driving along, driving and driving down a perfectly good concrete highway toward Kyiv at 48 miles per hour.
Then suddenly they spotted some farmland, turned off the highway on the orders of some mysterious idiot general, and all got stuck in the mud after the heaviest rainfall in ten years. In February. In northern Ukraine.
Otherwise, they would have captured Kyiv and ended the war in three and a half, maybe four hours.
And here we are, nearly five years later. Still no Russian tanks in Kyiv. Or Chernihiv. Or Kharkiv. Or Dnipro. Or Kherson.
But Russia is a big country and Ukraine isn't, so obviously Ukraine must surrender.
What part of this is so hard to understand??

If the skies over Ukraine cannot be closed, then the skies over Russia will be.
That is what Ukraine claims, acknowledging that its new attack plan involves the use of AI-powered dronesβindependent of U.S. technologyβdesigned to bypass Russian defenses and neutralize Russiaβs entire air-control infrastructure.

Donald Trump and his war in Iran are to blame for our nation's sky-high diesel and gas prices. His latest ployβbuying fuel from his friend Vladimir Putinβreeks of weakness and will help pay for Russiaβs war but will do nothing to make life more affordable for American families.
The American people deserve a leader who cares about them, and the Ukrainian people deserve allies who will stand by their side in the fight for a free, democratic, and independent nation.

Good to see Donald buy Russian diesel instead of Canadian. I know its right on USA border but they sell imperialist, woke diesel that makes your truck gay.

Lifting the ban on Russian diesel is yet another classic Trump moment, and Trump is ready to jump on anything that might help them in the midterms. The idea probably came from the Kremlin, Trump made up some numbers in his head and just went with it.
But when looking at the facts, the idea is just ridiculous.
First, due to Ukrainian deep strikes, Russia has little diesel available for export.
Second, even if Russia could export diesel to the US, the amount would only last a few days.
Third, I suspect the whole thing is a Russian plot to pressure Trump into forcing Ukraine to stop striking Russian oil refineries. These strikes are seriously damaging Russia's war economy, and Putin is doing everything in his power to stop them, even activating Agent Krasnov.
Axios is now reporting that the US will stop sharing intelligence if Ukraine doesn't halt its deep strikes. However, Ukraine is no longer as dependent on this intelligence as it once was. My guess is that the next step will involve restricting Starlink access for Ukrainian forces.
For the first time, Zelenskyy has openly called US decision-making weak. That's saying a lot, considering how carefully he has avoided criticizing Trump and his administration.
