Tomorrow, I am counting on your vote to send a local, experienced, and trusted candidate to the Legislature. I hope you instill your trust in me to serve the #BrooksMedHat community the best I can. It's time to vote Barry Morishita.

That Danielle Smith thinks it's fine for thousands of Albertans to go unrepresented in the legislature for 271 days tells you all you need to know about how she feels about the role of voters & MLAs in democracy.
Brooks-Medicine Hat voters & UCP caucus members should take note.

Today during the press conference on charter schools, the premier made a comment about supporting choice and that the money then follows the students. This echoes a voucher system and erodes a strong public education system. Here's a bit more on that:

A long time ago I made cards but never gave them away. I am back into making cards and happy to say that I am actually giving them away. Since December first I have made about 100 cards and have given most of them away. Can't wait to share these ones.

I got the sweetest card today from a student. It said "You make me happy and your smile makes me want to sing."
Wrapped up Convention today with a beautiful message from @jannarden. "Good things come from bad things." #sabtc2022

Another one of my Teacher's Convention traditions is purchasing the latest book from @LisaGardnerBks. Bought my copy last night from @chaptersindigo and cannot wait for it to arrive! Thankful for my Plum Plus card and free shipping!
