We’re proud to share that long-time Padua guidance counselor and assistant football coach Joe Vadini is being inducted into the National High School Football Hall of Fame (posthumously). He was a beloved member of the Padua community from 1984-2005. The induction ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 in Brook Park.

Met with Kristen Fragassi, great-granddaughter of Susan Hepburn, who at 18 designed Cleveland’s flag in 1895. She beat a field of men, won $50 in silver dollars (delivered by reporter Robert Beach, who later married her), and left a legacy of civic pride and women’s empowerment.
