It was great to host the @NewbarnsBrewery team down in the Scottish Borders and Northumberland today.
First up was a visit to Paxton South Mains farm and a meet up with @Alexhrpsm, grower of Newbarns' bere barley crop, which they have used in their Lager Bere and Table Beer.

You don’t get to stoke the fire at the beginning of the tournament by labelling our anti-racism message as ‘Gesture Politics’ & then pretend to be disgusted when the very thing we’re campaigning against, happens.
I am disgusted that @England players who have given so much for our country this summer have been subject to vile racist abuse on social media.

Been lucky enough to have been at Berwick games as a volunteer this season and not once has it felt unsafe.
However, with numbers being reported now, surely we have passed the tipping point where this is a welfare issue for players, their families & work colleagues.

Simpsons Malt has entered into an agreement to acquire 40 acres of land in Speyside, Scotland, where it intends to build a state-of-the-art maltings with malting barley storage facilities, subject to planning and due diligence.
