My Trotskyan Moment? -- My talk in Düsseldorf today is at 3pm. At pretty much exactly this time, a big demonstration -- against underfunding in education and the affordability crisis -- will pass the building. Shall I lean out the window and give a rousing speech?

Upcoming fun. Today, I talk on "Can science be truly objective?" in a workshop for Viennese scientists. Saturday, I speak on relativism at the meeting of the "Young Wittgensteinians" in Düsseldorf. And next week I discuss colour in an applied mathematics department in Karlsruhe.
