Hurler spring barely being cut on Tullamore Fram today. Avg yield of 2.8t/ac at 16.7% moisture. This crop touched on 3.4t/acre with another crop only doing just over 2.5t. Farm remains in a soil moisture deficit with grass growth struggling, but great conditions for harvest.

Fair play to this young man, comes every Wednesday on experience as part of his LCA and comes to help out on a Saturday also. Stone mad about ewes and sucklers, even recently got his valmet kitted out with LEDs and an “I’m working late beacon” so he could stay on in the evenings
