Watched 9-0 Liberty Center beat 9-0 Archbold last night, 42-10…it’s hard to fathom how much better this LC team is than last year’s D5 State Champion LC team. They likely have a Mr. Football finalist in Garrison Kruse. And then Ethan Gray, Jaxton Lawniczak, & Jack Badenhop are three more of the best players in ALL of NWO…and that’s before even mentioning the OSU commit Kellen Wymer.

During last week’s 35-31 win over Poland Seminary, Girard junior QB AJ Pearson surpassed 100 career TD’s—54 passing & 49 rushing. For comparison’s sake, that was Pearson’s 25th career game. Last year’s Mr. Football Runner-Up, Shelby’s Brayden DeVito, had 77 total TD’s (54/23) through his first 25 career games. Depending on how deep they can make it in the playoffs the next two years, Pearson has a shot at becoming the first to ever throw and rush for 100 TD’s each.
