Trying to keep focusing on positive. But this still hurts.
I absolutely accept that Hearts away form could have been better and that we had other opportunities to win the league regardless.
But these two penalty decisions, undeniably had a fundamental impact on the outcome.

'Drama and excitement'.
The team that always wins won again, by the exact scoreline, that but for perceived injustices, in previous games, rightly or wrongly, the underdog, could have got away with and still triumphed.
Disastrous for external interest.

Ten reasons why Heart of Midlothian have already changed Scottish football for the better, whatever happens at Celtic Park today...
1) Interest levels risen at home and abroad.
2) Better competition.
3) Possible improvement in co-efficients with a strong Hearts heading into Europe.
4) Reminder of what can be done with shrewd recruitment (£300k net spend in summer window taking into account Penrice sale). Blend of data from the gem-finding geniuses of Jamestown Analytics and a good judge of players and inspiring man-manager in Derek McInnes.
5) Reminder of what can be done by fans – Foundation of Hearts (“Be Part Of The Disruption”) have 8,000 members/owners and have raised £20m for the club.
6) Big-hearted benefactors like James Anderson and Ann Budge, caring for their community.
7) Big-hearted initiatives like Hearts fans buying additional season tickets and donating them to kids at Dalry Primary School, Edinburgh Children’s Hospital charity and elsewhere.
8) Reminder of what can be achieved through togetherness within a club, within a squad and within a fanbase.
9) Reminder to others that the great Old Firm duopoly can be challenged. Believe.
10) Finally, what a song and Colin Chisholm’s stirring pre-match rendition. The talk of the toon are the boys in maroon. #Hearts
So proud of everything @JamTarts achieved this season.
We've significantly increased interest in both the club and the league and have a platform on which to win it in the next few years.
Sad that older Hearts fans like my dad and father in law, may not live to see it
Mato has barely featured though and the addition of a first team ready forward may have helped us avoid some of the cheap points we gave away to teams in the bottom 6.
Never been prouder to be a fan of @JamTarts
Missed quite a few games this season because my health hasn't been great. But this season has been special regardless of the final outcome.
My first blog since 2024! A summary of my PD research advocacy efforts over the past year or so.
Hopefully informative, i'm aiming to produce content more regularly this year.#Parkinsons granderouge.wordpress.com/20…
It's too early to talk about Hearts winning the league, whilst talking about it every day regardless, is up there with other great Scottish football idioms such as "splitting the old firm" and Celtic being x points clear whilst in 2nd place.
Say his name and he appears.. great to see @joehendry at Tynecastle tonight

Watched & read various perspectives on the US election yesterday. Main takeaways for me were:
-Most people don't care or follow politics or media about it
-The price of food in the US increased 22% since 2020
-Gas price important to US voters – at Scotland, United Kingdom
Issues such as trans rights, gender identity, reproductive rights and Ukraine are almost totally irrelevant to the vast majority of voters.
Hard to argue against those who perceive that the Democratic party leadership made a number of strategic errors.
