This review is giving me life for a couple of reasons. 1) I understand enough Spanish to read it! 2) It's a review from a 50 year old widower who bought the game so he could spend more time with his son and it's the most time they've bonded since his wife passed away.馃槶

Just here to notify you some of what we have been gearing up for in 1.2. You'll see more of an overview tomorrow!
The holidays are over and we're starting up @PDXVictoria dev diaries again this week to talk about all the fixes, improvements and changes that upcoming 1.2 patch will bring. To tidy you over until then, here's a teaser of the new and more condensed trade routes interface in 1.2!
In patch 1.1 for @PDXVictoria, Pondicherry no longer starts the game as a functioning Treaty Port, as Treaty Ports will now only work against markets controlled by a lower-ranked power. If you want a backdoor into the British Market, you'll have to take them down a peg first!
It's teaser time again! One of the things we're looking at in upcoming @PDXVictoria patches is balancing cultural/religious tolerance laws by having more restrictive laws increase the loyalty of accepted pops, so there is an actual trade-off involved.
With @PDXVictoria now released, the team is hard at work fixing bugs and addressing your feedback. One of the first mechanics we're tweaking is Legitimacy, increasing its impact and making it so share of votes in government matters far more, especially with more democratic laws.
So I guess we鈥檙e releasing @PDXVictoria today, huh?
Thank you @producerjohan for trusting me with @PDXVictoria, it鈥檚 been a hell of a ride and part of me still can鈥檛 believe we're releasing tomorrow. Incredibly excited for it!

QA are an absolutely crucial and often grossly undervalued part of game development - and frequently some of my absolutely favorite people to work with. You should read this dev diary!
Paul joins us again this week, this time with a delve into QA for Victoria 3! Read it here: pdxint.at/3VhJah3
Dealing with a wretched cold for the last couple weeks has at least led to one good thing: I finally gave in to the British Paradox Tea Lobby and bought a big box of Yorkshire Tea. It's lovely stuff.

AI nations have dynamic strategies that influence how they act, both internally and externally.
Just finished writing the draft for this week's @PDXVictoria AI dev diary. It's... wordy.
Just wrapped up the last big pass on Diplomatic Play AI for the release of @PDXVictoria and I have to say that it's a lot more rude now :(
PDXCON 2022 was just awesome. Thank you everyone for being there, for playing @PDXVictoria and for sharing your thoughts and excitement with me. Hope you all had as good a time as I did!
I regret to report that Belgium has now been taught not to send all its armies on a glorious naval invasion of St. Petersburg while Brussels is in the process of being captured.
