I'm gonna wake up and keep trying to do good and so are you and nobody gets to vote on that.
TW: death, suicide
So, last week a student of mine passed away. He was 15 years old, half way through 9th grade. His escape and way of engaging with others was playing D&D and other games. Tbh, he reminded me a lot of myself and what might have happened without support
His family can't pay for his service and celebration on their own. If you are so inclined, I'll provide the link for anyone
If you'd like to support this GoFundMe by donating or sharing—every bit of help makes a difference. gofund.me/1484f623
Idk if I'll ever be able to get this on camera, but my baby and my dog both roll their eyes up into the back of their head like they're possessed when they're asleep, and I think that's pretty cute
Hey! Hey you! I've been off this site for a while now cause I've been working on a cool new project. Meet my baby!
Her name is Geneva Maria and she is already looking like a human child!
Sup Twitter,
Currently traveling across the US for a week to move to Vermont for a new adventure 👶🍼
But before that, in Minneapolis today, Chicago area probably tomorrow, and near Buffalo on Monday!
Anyone got some places, tips, tricks, etc we should aim for?
Happy first day of 2024 to all of you! I hope this year brings you the happiness and success you've been looking for, just as it brought me this beautiful owl that I woke up this morning
(It was not as thrilled as I was)
ALT An owl outside the window that was presumably sleeping
ALT The owl after I had opened the window to get a better look
ALT The same owl (barred) slowly turning to look at me after I opened the window
ALT The owl giving me a 'what do you want, man? I was sleeping' look as I gushed at it and told it how beautiful it is. I think we're friends now.
Two day strike for now
Three week strike in November if needed
Go get em, folks 💪🏽
BREAKING: Picketing began at Kaiser Permanente hospitals as some 75,000 health care workers go on strike in Virginia, California and three other states over wages and staffing shortages, marking the latest major labor unrest in the United States. apnews.com/article/kaiser-he…
Wish I had this thought a few months ago, but would folks be into playing in a full on geeky trivia night at cons like @bigbadcon or @Gen_Con hosted by yours truly? 👀
BUG FACT NUMBER 6: Bedbugs might not carry an infectious disease, but they are an extremely prolific best parasite and have many species!
And all of them suck
You guys know that bedbugs are harmless right? They are filthy and irritating but still harmless
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Bed bugs are not harmless. Although they are not known to carry diseases, they can still cause allergic reactions and, in some cases, skin infections.

Someone I ran into today told me #BigBadCon2023 was a bit too woke, which means it was absolutely the right place to be ✨
Loved meeting so many incredible people in person!! Looking forward to seeing y'all at the next one and hopefully working with folks in the meantime! 🤓
Oh, the main person banning books has hated books...forever? Only started reading out of spite? Yes, this is the person who should be making those decisions and claims - clearly they are well versed 🙃
Keep reading, folks. This is why literacy is important 📖
Just 11 adults are responsible for 60% of requests of ban books from school libraries nationwide, according to a Washington Post analysis of the 2021-2022 school year. washingtonpost.com/education…
Alright y'all, it starts tomorrow (even tho I'll be there on Friday) who's headed to #BigBadCon this weekend?
