Our son Henry attended a special education school in the UK. His teaching assistants were paramount to his safety & enjoyment at school. He lit up when I would mention their names. They made his life happier by being in it. They are indispensable & deserve a fair wage.

The first paper to be published documenting research that was done using our late son Henry’s cells. We are grateful to Dr. Huda Zoghbi and her entire lab and the team @UCBerkeley for their ongoing work to find treatments for Rett Syndrome. This is Henry’s legacy. @RichardEngel

A friend took his kids to July 4th Parade in Highland Park today. His son has special needs. When shots rang out, they ran for their lives, the dad pushing his grown son's wheelchair--which at one point tumbled over. On America's day, what has become a sickeningly American story.
