Why is this "Forgot Password" / "Change Password" UX flow so important? Because it's something many of us need often, and right away! ;-)
In honor of the wonderful work that my friend Kimberly Kleman is doing as SVP of @ReportforAmerica, I contributed. Through Dec. 31, 2022, all contributions are doubled, thanks to a generous donor. Join me in supporting quality local journalism! reportforamerica.org

It works! I set a goal of 30 days and am now at day 31, studying Italian. A colleague forwarded this to me, so I wanted to share it.
This is one of the 🤯🤯🤯 experiments we ran on the Duolingo Retention team :

Clear the fog, and see the landscape. Design products more resilient in the long run because people will return to solutions that respect them. Have a trusting, respectful relationship with the people your organization supports. bit.ly/3h2Yrmc

Too many sites/apps request one's birthdate to register or continue, but that's your personal information. Don't do it unless it's for an official government or medical need. Instead, use random.org/calendar-dates/ to pick a random date and keep your privacy.
You truly understand, @BarackObama. Those on the Supreme Court who voted to overturn Roe v. Wade have completely lost touch with reality. This is indeed a personal decision, not a political one. I will always support the right to choose.
Today, the Supreme Court not only reversed nearly 50 years of precedent, it relegated the most intensely personal decision someone can make to the whims of politicians and ideologues—attacking the essential freedoms of millions of Americans.

Despicable is the word that came to mind when I heard what Matt Gaetz said today. Criticizing women, or anyone, for being well-educated and for exercising their civil liberties is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I will not quote his disgusting nonsense.

If the court overturns Roe v. Wade, it will be a direct assault on freedom.

This news brought me to tears. I last saw Steve and his wife at CompuServe's 50th anniversary event in October 2019. Steve was a creative genius and a kind, self-effacing man who persevered through tragedy and cared about everyone. @harrymccracken's tribute is superb.
I was very sorry to hear about the death of GIF inventor Steve Wilhite. Here’s the story of the image format’s creation, as told to me by CompuServe’s Sandy Trevor, the guy who asked Wilhite to come up with it. fastcompany.com/90734869/his…
